Hitchhiking into Vermont in 1980

Actors Pearl Prentice and Louis Celt clown around on the Sidetracked set. This is Route 2 outside Richmond. 

Film crew stopped traffic over the bridge for the filming, as permitted by the town.  One of the Sidetracked Producers, Kol Spielvogel, in his orange vest, stood in the road, hand up in the halt position, and faced fierce resistance from one motorist. He did not back down! Unbelievable dedication and determination by this film crew and cast to make it happen!
